JIC Leasing recently provided financial leasing services to a science and education group in Sichuan Province, in support of its construction of the local University Town and Technology Innovation Town.

This science and education group undertakes the promotion and development of the local science and education industry and the scientific innovation industry, focusing on creating a demonstration area for the integration of industry and education, along with a regional science and education center. It is the core force for accelerating the construction of the province's education sub-center. In 2016, there was only one undergraduate university and one higher vocational college in the area. Under the "Twin Towns" strategy, a number of colleges and universities have been introduced to the area, increasing from 2 to 12. Student numbers have also grown from 25,700 to 90,000. Moreover, two academician workstations and 13 industrial research institutes have been introduced, with 24 innovation (R&D) platforms at the provincial level and above, including the first provincial key laboratory for intelligent terminals jointly built by the departments and city. The provincial postdoctoral innovation practice center has also been approved.

The financial leasing services provided by JIC Leasing will support the development and construction of the local "Twin Town" supporting projects.
