JIC Leasing recently provided financial leasing services to a Jiangsu enterprise in support of the construction of new energy stations, charging pile installation and other supporting facilities for new energy vehicles in local urban areas and towns.

In 2022, the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Administration and other departments jointly issued the Implementation Opinions on Further Improving the Service Guarantee Capability of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure. The Opinions put forward a new development goal: by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China's electric vehicle charging capacity will be further improved, forming a moderately advanced, intelligent and efficient charging infrastructure which can meet the charging needs of more than 20 million electric vehicles. The Opinions also encourage the construction of charging facilities assisted by improved financial service capabilities.

As the main entity for local transportation infrastructure, this cooperative enterprise is responsible for the construction and operation of local charging piles and charging stations. The project plans to build 212 stations, mainly in public parking lots within local urban areas and townships, major government institutions, and residential communities. A total of 1,466 charging piles will be installed. The construction of this project can effectively improve the local battery charging and replacement capacity for new energy vehicles, while actively promoting the development of local green transportation and the urban-rural integration process.

JIC Leasing actively practices the concept of green and low-carbon development, injecting financial vitality into China's continuous optimization of energy infrastructure and expansion of the clean energy industry, and making positive contributions to the realization of the "dual-carbon" goal.
