JIC Leasing Supports the Construction of Dazhou Airport
JIC Leasing recently provided financial leasing services to Sichuan’s Dazhou Airport, in an attempt to boost the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
Dazhou is a populous city and a famous old revolutionary area in Sichuan Province. Boasting a favorable geographic location, it lies at the intersection of Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei and Shaanxi Provinces, nestled along the Chengdu-Chongqing economic belt on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. With the rapid growth of the second node of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, Dazhou Airport is in urgent need of renovation and expansion. After the current round of expansion is complete, it will be able to increase its passenger throughput by 176%, and its cargo and mail throughput by 162.5%. The airport will thus become an important transportation hub at the intersection of Sichuan, Chongqing and Yunnan, providing a continuous boost to the development of the eastern Sichuan region and the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
With the further advancement of national strategies, such as poverty alleviation in the Qinba region, the Belt and Road Initiative, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone and City Clusters, and with the gradual implementation of thePlan for the Revitalization and Development oftheSichuan-Shaanxi Old Revolutionary Base Area, Dazhou is a bridgehead for Sichuan's development in the central and western regions. It is also significantly enhancing its strategic position in the development of Western China. The expansion of Dazhou Airport will thus give new impetus to the development of this part of the country.
