JIC Leasing Supports the Construction of an Industrial and Commercial Distributed Photovoltaic Power Plant
JIC Leasing recently provided financial leasing services to two power station development enterprises in Shanghai and in Anhui Province, respectively, to support the construction of their new energy power stations.
In 2024, the "Two Sessions" focused partially on new energy transformation. "Strengthening efforts to promote ecological progress and boosting green and low-carbon development" was one of the ten tasks deployed by the government work report this year, and the development of the photovoltaic industry is directly deployed in "top-level design". In March, the National Energy Administration issued its "Guidelines on Energy Work in 2024". This document described how it is necessary to consolidate and expand the good development momentum of wind and photovoltaic power, steadily promoting the construction of large-scale wind and photovoltaic power bases, and orderly advancing the completion and operation of projects.
The above two cooperative enterprises are distributed photovoltaic power station investors with sufficient experience in the industry, providing a variety of services from equipment procurement, development and construction to late-stage operation. The investment covers areas of relatively well-developed private economies and good power usage such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui and Jiangxi Provinces. The total roof area of the power station projects covers around 100,000 square meters, with an installed capacity of 10.24MW. More than 9 million kWh of electricity from renewable energy sources can be generated every year, all of which is self-generated with surplus electricity connected to the grid. After being put into operation, these projects can help alleviate regional power shortage issues.
JIC Leasing actively practices the development concept that "clear waters and green mountains are like mountains of gold and silver", vigorously supporting the development of the green energy industry and contributing financially to the coordinated promotion of peak carbon and carbon neutrality goals.
