JIC Leasing Shanghai recently provided financial leasing services to a leading private chemical shipping company to help its fleet upgrade.

The lease for this project is a 6,000-ton DC electric push stainless steel chemical tanker for non-restricted waters. Using traditional power, the tanker features an automatic DC grid connection, and a synchronous permanent magnet motor as its main propulsion unit. By meeting the latest EEDI III and TIER III requirements, better energy conservation and emissions reductions can be achieved. The cargo hold area of the tanker is made of duplex stainless steel and marine steel plate hot-rolled composite plates, which have good corrosion resistance and are suitable for transporting cargo.
