Recently, JIC Leasing provided a finance lease to a large-sized construction waste resource regeneration enterprise in Shandong Province for its new project construction and equipment procurement to support the development of construction waste treatment and recycling economy. The project has become the largest construction waste recycling treatment base in the province.

While China's construction industry is in a period of rapid development, we lag behind in the promotion of construction waste resources. Hence, it’s imperative to realize the comprehensive utilization of construction waste. By 2020, the total amount of construction waste in China had reached about 20 billion tons, but China still relies on traditional disposal methods such as landfill and transportation, with a recycling rate of less than 10%. Meanwhile, urban construction has a growing demand for sand and gravel aggregate and other building materials. Construction waste regeneration and recycling projects can turn waste into treasure, and use construction waste to produce recycled concrete, recycled mortar, stabilized soil, recycled standard permeable bricks and other products, so as to achieve resource recycling and practice the development concept of energy conservation and environmental protection.
